The interactor is an effort to create a scenario for collaboration, valuing both the participant and the community as key components of the creative act. Each participant controls one unique, remote-driven drawing machine within an isolated arena upon a large drawing surface. A drawing machine acts as an interface, translating the intentions of its driver. While all the machines are active in a shared space at the same time, the participants are forced to interact with one another, through their personal representatives (i.e. drawing machines). The resulting drawing is a visual record of the interactions that took place.
